Sharlene has an EYE for detail.

Sharlene Phillips was born in Melbourne, Australia in the late 1960's and started drawing at age Six.

With over thousands of applicants each year and an aptitude Drawing examination Sharlene was accepted to complete a 3-year Bachelor of Arts Degree in Fine Art at Victoria College in 1987.

Sharlene studied DRAWING as her major subject, as it covered all aspects of Figure, Studio, Structural and General drawing techniques.

The course also offered other subjects including Animation, Art History, Ceramics, Illustration, Photography, Painting, Printmaking and Sculpture.

Sharlene qualified for the Bachelor of Arts (Fine Arts) Degree with high credits in all subjects.


OneEyedFrog?

FROGS............Not only does Sharlene keep and breed many varieties of Australian frogs she is keen in saving and protecting their environments.

Sharlene wishes to educate people about the importance of frogs on our Earth and give Frogs and Toads a chance to survive another million years!

Please do take the time to have a look her Frog Images they are simply magical.

Many of the frogs in the photos are part of her protective breeding program with over 12 species here in the studio and images being sold all over the world!

I bet you did not know how amazing these little creatures are!


Photography

Sharlene has over 30 years experience in Photography, including Film Processing and Darkroom Image Developing to Digital Imaging and Digital Darkroom Editing Skills. 

It quickly became apparent that photography wasn't going to be just a passing phase – her passion for knowledge and the urge to learn all aspects of photography has made her work unique.

Sharlene's photography has been internationally published on other web sites, magazines, books and national newspapers. Her images have been used for books, calendars, greeting cards, newsletters, brochures, banners, etc. Her work has also been printed in large format and used commercially and displayed on the walls of corporate businesses.

Sharlene Phillips specialises in Professional Equine Portraiture and Equestrian Event Photography Services across Victoria and Australia.
