Sharlene Phillips, a highly regarded professional equine photographer, is recognized as one of the top photographers in Australia. With a keen eye for detail, she has established herself as a leading figure in her field.

Sharlene earned a Bachelor of Arts degree with high credits, specializing in Fine Arts. Drawing was her major subject, and she excelled in various drawing techniques such as Figure, Studio, Structural, and General drawing. Her academic journey also encompassed subjects like Animation, Art History, Ceramics, Illustration, Photography, Painting, Printmaking, and Sculpture.

Over the course of her career, Sharlene has gained extensive experience in photography. She possesses advanced skills in Advanced Film Processing, Darkroom Image Development, and Digital Imaging and Editing. With over 35 years of practice, she has honed her craft and expanded her repertoire.

Sharlene's expertise extends beyond equine photography. She has also delved into Commercial Photography, Corporate Shots, Event Coverage, Family and Individual Photography, Food Photography, Image Editing and Design, Pet Photography, Product Photography, Printing Services, and conducting Workshops, among other areas.

As an Australian Professional Accredited Photographer, Sharlene holds accreditation from reputable institutions such as the Australian Institute of Professional Photography (AIPP), Boneo Park, and Equestrian Victoria. Her artistic talent has also earned her recognition as an award-winning artist.

Growing up surrounded by horses, Sharlene possesses extensive equine knowledge. She takes immense pride in being mentored by professional judges, equestrian instructors, and accomplished athletes, enabling her to capture images that showcase the deep connection between riders and horses.

Sharlene has covered a wide range of horse events, including Interschool Equestrian Events, Show Jumping Events, Horse Trials, Dressage, RDA, Para Equestrian Athletes, HRCAV, ARC, TTT, Pony Clubs, Equitana, Royal Melbourne Show, M3DE, Corporate Events, Horse Clinics, Horse Shows, Rodeos, Reining, and many more.
